Organic Use of Hortus IBA Water Soluble Salts and Rhizopon AA Plant Rooting Products
Per the US Dept. of Agriculture National Organic Program, Hortus USA products for use in Organic farm management are regulated as below.
The Hortus IBA Water Soluble Salts,and Rhizopon AA #1, #2 and #3 dry powder rooting products' active ingredient can be used to propagate plants from cuttings. If these plants are “maintained under a system of organic management for a period of no less than 1 year”, after that period the plant crop "may be sold, labeled, or represented as organically produced" per National Organic Program standards.
Regarding compliance for use of these products, refer to National Organic Program regulations:
Title 7, Subtitle B, Chapter I, Subchapter M, Part 205, Subpart C, §205.204, parts (4) and (5). Whereas: (4) Nonorganically produced planting stock to be used to produce a perennial crop may be sold, labeled, or represented as organically produced only after the planting stock has been maintained under a system of organic management for a period of no less than 1 year; and (5) Seeds, annual seedlings, and planting stock treated with prohibited substances may be used to produce an organic crop when the application of the materials is a requirement of Federal or State phytosanitary regulations.
